We answer the most common questions about your stay at Casa Bardena Negra: check-in times, amenities, children, bookings and visits to the Bardenas Reales, Sendaviva and Tudela.
How many people does the house sleep?
The whole house sleeps 8, plus 2 more on the living-room sofa bed (10 in total). It has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.
Why book direct with you?
Because we guarantee you the best price, with none of the commission charged by Booking, Airbnb or other platforms. You also deal directly with your host, who replies to you personally and helps you with routes and plans. Ask for your quote here.
How do I book and pay?
Tell us your dates and the number of guests, we'll send you the total price and, if it suits you, you confirm the booking with a small deposit (Bizum or bank transfer). The rest is paid on arrival. We confirm everything in writing.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00. If you need different times, just ask: whenever bookings allow, we do our best to fit in with you.
Is there anything waiting for us when we arrive?
Yes: the house will be ready for you, with the beds made, towels for everyone and a small welcome treat. We like you to feel at home from the very first moment.
Is there air conditioning and heating?
Yes. There's air conditioning in every room and heating for the winter, so you'll be comfortable at any time of year.
Is it suitable for children? Do you have a cot and high chair?
Yes, it's a quiet, family-friendly house. We can provide a cot and high chair on request: just mention it when you book, along with the children's ages. You'll find more ideas in our guide for families.
What's in the kitchen?
A fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic hob and all the kitchenware you need for cooking and serving.
Are towels and bed linen included?
Yes. We provide towels and bed linen for all guests.
Is there a garden and barbecue?
Yes. The house has a private garden with a terrace and barbecue, so you can enjoy the outdoors with family or friends.
Can we bring bicycles?
Yes. There's a dedicated space at the house for storing bikes. Remember that in the Bardenas Reales you may only ride on the authorised tracks.
Are pets allowed?
Please ask us before booking. We look at each case individually, depending on the size of the pet, the number of nights and the house rules.
How far are the Bardenas, Sendaviva and Tudela?
The edge of the Bardenas Reales (Bardena Negra) is about 10 minutes away by car; the Bardena Blanca and Castildetierra are about 35-45 minutes away via Arguedas. Sendaviva is about 30 minutes away and Tudela about 15.
Is it a good base for visiting Sendaviva?
Yes: you're about 30 minutes from the park, so you can get there without an early start and come back to the house to unwind. Take a look at our tips for Sendaviva with kids.
Are parties or events allowed?
No. This is a place for rest and family holidays. We kindly ask you to respect the neighbours' peace and quiet, especially from 22:00 to 08:00.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed indoors. Outside, please use an ashtray and respect the surroundings.
Is there parking?
There's free on-street parking near the house, and access is easy for loading and unloading.
What is the cancellation policy?
It may vary depending on the season. We confirm it in writing before you make any payment, so you can book with peace of mind.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes. If you need one, let us know when you book and have your billing details to hand.
Is it accessible?
The house is on two floors, with a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor. If you have specific needs, tell us and we'll give you detailed advice before you book.
